Brackett House was built in 1862 and has been part of Cornell College since 1952. The house accommodations include four rooms that vary from double occupancy to a two-bedroom suite that sleeps six. Just steps from campus and within easy walking distance of downtown Mount Vernon, Brackett House is nestled in a historic Mount Vernon neighborhood.

If you are planning a special event on campus or have a large group coming to Mount Vernon you can reserve the whole house for your party. Catering is available through Bon Appétit, the college food service vendor, for events from anniversary dinners to your family holiday celebration.
